Brainspotting is an innovative brain-body based, mindfulness approach that allows one to access subcortical parts of the brain where trauma and limiting beliefs are stored. Brainspotting is a flexible modality and can easily be integrated into any therapy session. This practice helps move an individual from dysregulation to regulation and complete the stress response cycle, which isn’t always possible in day to day life. Brainspotting relies heavily on the connection between therapist and client, with the role of therapist being to hold space and provide a compassionate presence.
